Who we are

Kansai Academics Working in English (K-AWE) is an organization that hosts informal events for academics based in Kansai to network and meet potential collaborators for future research. We also host internal events at affiliate universities for faculty members and students to network over coffee and sandwiches. Along with a yearly get together open to members, and prospective members, from all over the Kansai region.

We are looking to expand our events to eventually include professional training seminars for researchers to present their research, and offer advice for publishing and applying for funds with more planned for the future.
